Countdown to 40

In 361 days I will be 40 years old.

40 isn’t particularly significant but I think I need it to be. I need to make some changes and have my life look a lot differently from the way it looks now. And since changes take time, it seems like now is a good time to start … and 40 will be a good time to ring in those changes.

I believe that for things to change, I need to have a plan. But before I can formulate a plan, I need to decide on what I’d like to change and what is realistic to change in the next year. 40 isn’t the end of my life — I like to think it will be a new-ish beginning. So everything won’t and doesn’t have to change in a year. It is a bit overwhelming to think of all the things I’d like to change and prioritise them but I will push past that and just make a list.

I’ll make a list of ALL the things I want to change and make note of what I can do to effect the changes. Then I will work from there.
